Training Courses – American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider (First time)
- The Chain of Survival
- ABC’s of CPR (adult, infant and child)
- Automated External Defibrillation (AED)
- Bag valve mask
This course is designed for medical care providers and provides training in one-person, two-person, child and infant CPR, and all choking techniques. Topics include the use of airway devices like the bag valve mask and various pocket masks. All participants must be able to kneel on the floor beside a manikin for extended periods of time. There is a 25-question test with a passing score of 84% required.
This program is also provided as a blended class with part one taken on line at the AHA E-Learning site and part two skills taken at our location.

This course offered provides a quick update for the Health Care Providers needing to renew their certification. The classes are one-on-one or, at most, four students at a time.
